As your kids get older their wants, needs and interests change and seem to become more complex and let’s face it… more elaborate and expensive. As your child gets older their birthday parties seem to follow a similar trend i.e. complex, elaborate and expensive. Your child’s Birthday party obviously means the world to them.
We realise that your child’s birthday is quite possibly one of the most important days of the year for you and your family. For your child, this is an opportunity to prove how ‘cool’ they are to all their friends and classmates. For you as the parent, there are of course all the friends’ parents looking for a nibble and cup of coffee while they wait on their kids. No pressure moms and dads but there is a lot riding on this seemingly simple ‘kids party’.
This is the part where we step in; we have been organising children’s birthday parties over the last 8 years and have simplified this into 7 easy steps. To us a child’s birthday party is not just another day or another event, but it is an opportunity to create the kids party experience of their year. This is our simple seven step guide to throwing the ultimate kids birthday party.
Step 1: Deciding on a Party Theme
Making a decision on what to do for your child’s birthday party is probably the trickiest part of the whole party planning process. With hundreds of options out there it can be difficult to choose one that you trust and can meet your expectations. If your son or daughter is the slightest bit adventurous and enjoys outdoors then the first step is the easiest. Boot Camp Cape Town is the answer, and if you are reading this then you are in the right place already! Should you decide on a Boot Camp Party your troubles are nearly over 6 more simple steps to go, if not keep reading we have 6 simple steps to convince you that this is the party you want. “So if it’s so easier then how do I sign up?”
Step 2: The Location
You may have heard the term location, location, location. We have realised that the location of the event is almost as important as the party itself. A poor venue will affect the entire day and possibly ruin your event as a whole. We have three amazing venues to choose from. We have taken the time to seek out and develop great relationships with three amazing venues which are the ideal venues to use to host your Boot Camp child’s party. Simply head over to our BOOKING SITE which showcases each of the fantastic venues we have on offer.
Step 3: Booking
Now that you have found our booking site the rest is easy. Simply select the Venue that best suits you, choose any additional extras you would like with your Boot Camp party experience, let us know how many children will be attending, and leave your contact details. You will be quoted automatically through the booking system and we will automatically be notified of your booking details. One of our friendly sergeants will be in contact with you as soon as we receive your booking notification.

You will receive a mail with everything- we will get you sorted. Once you are sold it’s now up to selling it to your little recruit. Once you have all the information you need, it’s nearly time to take care of the grub.
Step 4: Catering
Catering for your party is yet another responsibility we offer to take off of your hands. There are a number of catering options on our BOOKING SITE. We offer everything from treats and sweets to Rat Packs (party packs) and cakes. Feel free to let us know your catering requirements and we will have it covered. If there is anything we haven’t thought of and we will do our best to make your dreams come true. All of our venues have amazing menus and tasty catering options at great prices. Everything can be arranged for your special day. “What about the adults? “ Each of our venues has great restaurant facilities; the perfect place to accommodate all of the adult visitors to your party in a comfortable, relaxed setting.
Step 5: Facilitation
On the day you will be met by our friendly, professional facilitators who are there to take care of all the party proceedings. Our facilitators are well trained and first aid certified should the need arise. Feel free to get involved in any of the great activities on offer. Our goal is to give your children an action packed and fun birthday party. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
Step 6: The Activities
We have developed our Boot Camp party activities with the kids in mind. We aim to provide an environment of wonder, excitement and adventure. We have taken a close look at activities that spark excitement and trigger the imagination of a child. We all know it is not necessarily ‘what’ something is but rather what it is perceived to be. A child’s imagination is an amazing thing, with limitless boundaries. We have done our best to facilitate activities which create that sense of wonder, igniting the children’s imaginations, transforming them into reality.
Step 7: Wrap Up
This is the best part of the day in our opinion. It’s time to celebrate! The 2hr action packed program is complete and if we have done our job well you should receive a bunch of energized, dirty, tired, hungry kids desperate for cake and a ration pack (our Boot Camp supplied party pack, essential for the survival of any recruit). You will then have the next half an hour to enjoy the festivities before the next intake of young recruits moves in. Upon leaving the venue please don’t worry about the clean-up we will take care of it all. Our aim is to give you the most rewarding, stress-free birthday party experience and hopefully, we have done our job well.
