    Leadership Camps

It has been a while since our last blog post and for good reason…

Since the 9th of January 2017 Boot Camp Cape Town has experienced its busiest season to date with us hosting schools from in and around Cape Town each week from the 9th onwards.

Like any business that grows and develops, so to have our Leadership Camps. Throughout the years Boot Camp has evolved from a once well-known fitness brand into a company specializing in leadership camps.

Our program, a culmination of team building based tasks centered around the ultimate survivor themes puts our students to the test. Learners are encouraged to step out of their shell and learn the true meaning of communication, trust, empathy, encouragement and above all, team work.

We believe in action-based learning in which we encourage a paradigm shift in the mindsets of our students. The words ”I can’t”, a phrase we hear only too often is soon replaced with words like ”Bring It On” or ”I most certainly can!”

We aim to be the catalyst that aids the victor mentality in our youth and it starts with a three-day getaway leadership camp. In our experience when learners are exposed to the dynamics of our program we start seeing a drastic change in the way they not only perform as individuals but as team members alike.

From scaling obstacle courses to learning how to build a fire using only a flint, to canoeing down the Berg River or being put to the test with various mathematical tasks we really try and incorporate a vast array of activities for all learners alike.

”A leadership program is only as effective as the facilitators who deliver it” – Scott Flowers Boot Camp Cape Town Director

As a company, we invest ALOT of our time researching and employing only the finest facilitators each chosen for their specific strengths and experience in the field. Each of our team leaders come with years of experience not only in working with Boot Camp but through international exposure working on various camps all around the world. No team leader is ever chosen to enter into our team if they’re just wanting to make a ”quick buck”.

Our facilitators are proud to be a part of our brand, our movement, and our long-term goals. Each of them sees themselves as the pivotal pillars which lead to the success of our leadership program and they’re not wrong. We give it our all every single day! There is no time for half measures. ”As a team, we are the culmination of our combined experience” – Kyle Sanders Boot Camp Cape Town

We have a running joke with our school clients with whom we invest a lot of time building interpersonal relationships with. ”I don’t know how you guys do what you do and keep doing it with such focus, after three days of camping all I want is a nap.” The answer we give each time is that we all choose different paths in life, we’re lucky enough to have chosen a path that allows us to share life experiences with 100 people every day. ”Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life!”

      Hi Ishmael

      Thank you for your message.

We have a very strict hiring policy especially when it comes to camp facilitation. A minimum of first aid level 1, 3 years work experience with working with children and a police clearance certificate is required to be considered for a position in our company.

Should you have all three of them check list items, please then submit your CV with an updated photo of yourself to capetown@bootcamp-sa.co.za

      Kind regards
      Boot Camp Cape Town
