    Spring School Holiday Camp

Boot Camp Cape Town is so much more than just a company it’s a way of life, it’s a calling and it’s because of this very outlook that we continue to host our holiday camps three times a year, with them growing in popularity each year.

Our school holiday camps have been running for many years now and with the relationship we have with our long standing partner Buffalo Drift, we have developed them into one of our most popular products to date.

A true Boot Camp School Holiday Camp starts at the pickup point where our parents and campers meet our counselors before heading off to the lodge.

The fun and excitement usually starts on the bus well before we even get to the lodge, so much so that when we arrive on the farm our campers exit the bus already having made new friends! To say that the excitement never ends is an understatement! Once our campers arrive and after settling into their dorms, the fun really begins!

Our campers are welcomed to fun orientation tasks in which all camp goers get to know one another and become familiar with our camp rules. After the initial welcoming and orientation we divide up into various teams and go head to head in team challenges all geared around increasing communication and encouraging motivation.

Our days are then structured with back to back activities running throughout the course of the day in which we bring in various indoor and outdoor tasks. We’ve even included PlayStation’sSingstar into one of the challenges to really try and make our campers feel right at home.

In today’s modern society where our lives are ruled by the online world, isn’t it necessary as a parent to teach your child all the valuable life lessons you learnt growing up.

You do everything in your power to ensure that your child has the best possible upbringing and you will continue to do so long after your child leaves the “nest”.

When people ask us why we do what we do, the answer is always very clear. We do what we do to change lives, to impact our youth in the best possible light.

We see the importance of allowing children to interact with other children from different schools and various walks of life. Through the unique programs we have developed and the manner in which we deliver them, we allow our campers to grow in confidence and to learn through encouragement.

We love working with children in the outdoors. To us there is no greater reward than seeing pure joy and happiness on our little ones faces as they scale the cargo net, catch a fish, win the ultimate survivor challenge or beat their camp facilitators at a game of volley ball.

Our end goal on camp is to ensure that each child attending has the best possible camping experience with us having made lifelong friends and memories.

All lessons learnt on camp are practical and we encourage all campers to implement them into their schooling and sporting careers moving forward.

With our Leadership Development School Camps being the core focus of our business we bring in aspects of these programs into our holiday camp so that campers learn and grow in an environment where motivation is the name of the game.

A great author and speaker Mr John C. Maxwell once said that “Leaders become great not because of their power but because of their ability to empower others.”

We take this heart bringing in Leadership Development lessons into the indoor phase of our holiday camp program to really allow campers to think outside the box and approach challenges from a different light all the while seeing that challenges are merely a speed bump in the road to success.

We have just opened up another 10 spaces for our popular Spring School Holiday Camp which is scheduled for the 26th-29th June 2016.

Please feel free to e mail us on capetown@bootcamp-sa.co.za for all enrollment forms and finer logistics.
